Five areas of work, two divisions

Every engagement starts with the diagnostic and then a Systems build. Analytics follows once the data is clean and in one place. We scope the build after the diagnosis, not before it.

Operational diagnostic

TGM Business Systems

Every engagement starts here. Before anything is built, someone has to find out what is actually failing, where, and what it costs. That is the diagnostic.

Over three weeks we review the files and registers you use now, interview the person who keeps them and the person who uses the reports, and examine the real data. We look for two kinds of failure: work that is not being captured properly, and work that is not being reported properly. The output is a written findings document and a scoped build specification.

The diagnostic is R12,500 excl. VAT, paid in full before work starts. If you sign a build within 30 days of the handover, the full R12,500 is credited against the build price. If the right answer is that you do not need a build, we say so. The specification is yours either way.

This work starts in TGM Business Systems and looks across both divisions.

What you end up with

  • Every defect found and quantified in your own numbers
  • The cost of the failure, worked out from your records
  • A scoped build specification that is yours to keep
  • A straight answer on whether a build is worth doing

Operational systems

TGM Business Systems

A system either runs or it does not. We build the ones that run.

The build follows the specification from the diagnostic. For a contractor with staff across several sites, that usually means attendance and timesheets captured once at the site and reconciled without a spreadsheet, compliance files and certificates tracked before an audit rather than during it, or job status that anyone can see without phoning a supervisor.

We build on the tools you already run wherever we can, so there is no new platform to learn and no house system to be locked into. The scope and the price are fixed before work begins, and what acceptance looks like is written into the agreement. If the work overruns inside the agreed scope, the overrun is ours.

What you end up with

  • A working system running on your real data, not a sample
  • Capture, roles and approvals that match how your sites actually work
  • Attendance, compliance or job status tracked in one place
  • Acceptance criteria agreed in writing before work starts

Data cleaning and consolidation

TGM Business Analytics

A report is only as good as the data under it. When the same site is spelled three ways, dates are stored as text, or one workbook is linked to another that someone moved, every report built on top inherits the damage.

We start with the data itself. We find the inconsistencies that break filters, totals and automation, fix them at the source, and bring the records into one place. Then we put simple rules in place so the data stays clean once the project is over.

This comes first on purpose. No dashboard or automated report is quoted until the data it will run on is clean and in one place.

This work sits with TGM Business Analytics.

What you end up with

  • One cleaned, consolidated source for the data you report on
  • The inconsistencies that break reports found and fixed at source
  • Rules that keep the data clean from here on
  • A foundation that dashboards and reports can run on

Dashboards and automated reports

TGM Business Analytics

If a client expects a report on the fifth of every month, someone is probably spending the last days of the month assembling it. That is the work we remove.

Once the data is clean and in one place, we build dashboards on the tools you already run, and set up the monthly client report so it is produced from the data rather than assembled by hand. We agree the measures with you first. A dashboard that shows activity instead of the thing you are accountable for is decoration.

This follows data cleaning and consolidation, either as part of a Systems build or as its own piece of work. It is not sold on top of data we have not seen.

This work sits with TGM Business Analytics.

What you end up with

  • Dashboards built on the tools you already use
  • Monthly client reports produced without a month-end scramble
  • Measures agreed with you before anything is built
  • A reporting rhythm that surfaces problems early

Support retainer

TGM Business Systems

A system that nobody looks after drifts. A site is added, a rule changes, a report needs one more column, and within a year the system no longer matches the business.

The retainer covers fixes, changes and support on a system we have delivered, across either division. It is offered only after you have accepted the build and is never bundled into the build price. It runs for six months at a minimum and then month to month. Hours beyond the monthly five are quoted before the work begins, and unused hours do not roll over.

This work sits with TGM Business Systems.

What you end up with

  • Fixes and changes handled by the team that built the system
  • Up to five hours a month, planned rather than ad hoc
  • A six-month minimum, then month to month
  • Work beyond five hours quoted before it starts

Ninety minutes. A straight answer about what is actually holding you back.

No charge, no deck, no obligation to engage us afterwards.
